Erosion at Tamarin Beach: 'Encouraging Signs' According to the Ministry of Environment After Three Days of Work

The work undertaken since Thursday, May 30, at the public beach of Tamarin, which has been partially affected by erosion, has begun to yield positive results, according to the teams deployed on site, stated the Ministry of Environment in a press release issued this Sunday.

According to the supervising ministry, "the work carried out over the last three days shows that the installed rocks are acting as a physical barrier, significantly reducing coastal erosion. The rock structure put in place, akin to a rampart, is fully performing its role by dissipating wave energy and promoting sediment retention."
