Energy: A Strengthened Strategy Against Waste

In the context of a global energy crisis, particularly due to tensions in the Middle East, the Ministry of Energy and Public Utilities is taking a firmer stance against electricity waste. A strategic meeting, chaired by Minister Patrick Assirvaden, took place this morning, Monday, May 4, at the ministry's headquarters, coinciding with the implementation of new regulations.

The minister, along with his team and Deputy Commissioner of Police Krishna Jhugroo, discussed measures to enhance energy efficiency and reduce waste.
