Trou d’Eau Douce: A Retiree Drowns

A 74-year-old man drowned on Sunday, May 3rd. According to reports, the victim, a retiree from Mangalkhan residence, was retrieved around 2:30 PM by a lifeguard at Trou-d’Eau-Douce beach. He was then transported to SAJ Hospital by the National Coast Guard personnel, where he was pronounced dead.
