Fake Speeding Tickets: The Transport Ministry Warns the Public

The Ministry of Land Transport has issued a warning about a fraudulent message currently circulating on various social media platforms and messaging applications regarding a supposed notice of "speeding violation".

In a statement released on Friday, May 8, the ministry clarifies that the circulating message claims to originate from a "Mauritius Transport Authority" and states that a 50% discount would be granted if the fine is paid within 24 hours.
