Tourism: Rs 30.2 Billion in Revenue for the First Quarter
From January to March, tourism revenue reached Rs 30.2 billion, as reported by the Bank of Mauritius on Wednesday. This marks an increase of Rs 6.6 billion compared to the same period in 2025.
Specifically, tourism revenues grew in each of the first three months of the year compared to 2025. They rose from Rs 8.6 billion to Rs 11.3 billion in January; from Rs 7.2 billion to Rs 9.3 billion in February; and from Rs 7.8 billion in March.
