Cabinet Meeting: Phone Use While Driving: Up to 10 Penalty Points Soon

The government plans to tighten sanctions against drivers using a mobile phone while driving. The Cabinet has approved the Ministry of Land Transport to initiate steps to amend the Road Traffic Act to increase the number of penalty points assigned under the Penalty Points System for this offense.
