COUNCIL OF MINISTERS: Points-Based License and Cell Phones

The Council of Ministers has approved the initiative of the Ministry of Land Transport to send instructions to the Attorney General aimed at amending the Road Traffic Act. This amendment seeks to increase the number of points assigned under the Penalty Points System for offenses from a range of 3 to 6 points to a range of 5 to 10 points.
