Eid-Ul-Adha: Price Cap at Rs 186 per Kilogram of Imported Livestock to Curb Inflation

The inter-ministerial committee has recommended a retail price of Rs 186 per kilogram for imported live livestock in anticipation of the Eid-Ul-Adha festival in 2026, aimed at protecting consumers. This price is significantly lower than the Rs 220 per kilogram initially requested by the main importer.
