Fake News Alert: Bank of Mauritius Warns Against Alleged Printing of Rs 83 Billion

The Bank of Mauritius (BoM) has acknowledged the spread of false information regarding an alleged printing of Rs 83 billion in 2025. The BoM wishes to clarify that no monetary printing or fund transfers to the government occurred in 2025.
