Nouvelle-France: Seizure of Nearly Rs 1 Million in Drugs, Arrest of Two 21-Year-Olds

Thanks to reliable information, anti-drug officers were able to intercept a car in the parking lot of a supermarket in Nouvelle-France yesterday, Tuesday, May 12. During the search of the vehicle, hashish and cocaine were found, along with Rs 25,000 in cash.
The two occupants of the car, a man and a woman, both 21 years old, were arrested. During a search of the suspected trafficker's home in Nouvelle-France, a package containing hashish was discovered. In total, nearly Rs 1 million worth of drugs were seized.
The two suspects appeared in court on Wednesday, facing provisional charges of drug trafficking, and they returned to their police cell. The investigation is ongoing.
