PQ: Land at Rivière-du-Poste: Promises Made, Yet No Construction

A three-acre state-owned plot of land located at Rivière-du-Poste, near the traffic lights of Rivière-des-Anguilles, remains unused. This was revealed by the Minister of Housing and Lands, Shakeel Mohamed, in response to a question from MP Rubna Daureeawo. The land was originally assigned to the Ministry of Environment for the construction of a sports complex, but this project has never materialized. In 2008, a portion of 44 perches of one acre was designated for this purpose, but no further developments have occurred.
