Mauritius-South Africa: A Historic Agreement to Strengthen African Tourism Signed at 'Indaba 2026'

From May 11 to 14, Durban hosted the Africa’s Travel Indaba 2026, the largest leisure tourism trade show in Africa. During this event, Tourism Minister Richard Duval represented Mauritius alongside his African counterparts.

The event culminated in the signing on Wednesday, May 13, at the Durban ICC, of a historic memorandum of understanding on tourism cooperation between the Republic of Mauritius and the Republic of South Africa.
