PQ: Constituency No. 6: Two Aquaculture Projects to be Regulated Soon

Minister Arvin Boolell also addressed a question from MP Nitish Beejan regarding two barachois located in Constituency No. 6. The first was allocated for the farming of clams and crabs in January 2014, and the second in September 2015 for the farming of mud crabs and sea cucumbers. In both cases, operators have continued their activities without any formal lease agreement. A ten-year lease proposal submitted to the first company is currently pending.
