Goodlands: Heroin, synthetic cannabinoids, and cannabis found on an abandoned lot
A raid by the ADSU early Wednesday morning in Goodlands led to the seizure of various types of drugs hidden in an abandoned lot. Officers first discovered, in a box attached to a pole, 36 doses of heroin wrapped in pieces of aluminum foil. The search was then extended to different areas of the vacant lot, where police uncovered 41 doses of synthetic cannabinoids hidden among trash.
The investigation also revealed a packet containing cannabis concealed inside an energy drink can, as well as a substance suspected to be heroin found in another can hidden under a metal structure. A scale with traces of drugs was also recovered from an old refrigerator abandoned on the site. No suspects have been arrested, and an investigation has been launched by the ADSU.
