Alleged Extortion Case: Two Former MCIT Investigators Questioned

The Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) has arrested two former investigators from the Major Crime Investigation Team as part of an inquiry into suspicions of extortion and abuse of office.

A male police officer and a female police officer were summoned and subsequently interrogated in the presence of their lawyers. They are suspected of having illegally obtained a sum of money from a family living in Terre-Rouge following a raid.
