Council of Ministers: Fishing: Rs 50,000 Aid for Outboard Motor Renewal

On Friday, May 15, the Council of Ministers approved the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Agro-Industry, Food Security, Blue Economy, and Fisheries and the Development Bank of Mauritius Ltd. This agreement will allow registered fishermen eligible for a Rs 50,000 grant to replace their outboard motors and gain access to loan facilities from the bank.
