Cloudy Weather This Saturday

This Saturday, May 16th, the weather in Mauritius will be partly cloudy to mostly cloudy due to a moderately disturbed air current in the region.

According to the Vacoas meteorological station, light rain is expected during the morning and afternoon, mainly in the highlands. During the night, cloudy periods with intermittent rain will mainly affect the east, south, and central plateau. Pockets of fog are also anticipated in the highlands.

Maximum temperatures will range between 24 and 26 °C in the central plateau and between 28 and 30 °C along the coastal regions. Minimum temperatures will fluctuate between 18 and 20 °C in the highlands and between 22 and 24 °C on the coast.

Winds will blow from the east-southeast at about 25 km/h, with gusts reaching up to 50 km/h.

The sea will remain rough beyond the reefs, with swells from the southwest reaching around 3 meters. Outings at sea as well as in the lagoons of the west and south are not recommended.
