RUSSIA/MAURITIUS — Music: A Bust of Tchaikovsky Donated to the François Mitterrand Conservatory

The Embassy of the Russian Federation in Mauritius has donated a bust of the Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky to the François Mitterrand National Conservatory of Music. The extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Russia to Mauritius, Irada Zeynalova, and the director of the conservatory, Christinne Clarisse, unveiled the sculpture during a ceremony at the institution's headquarters.
