The European Union (EU) ambassador to the Republic of Mauritius, H.E. Oskar Benedikt, attended a scholarship award ceremony in January for 86 children of registered fishermen in Mauritius and Rodrigues. These scholarships are provided by the Fishermen Welfare Fund.
