Reforms: A Commission to Review the Constitution

The government plans to introduce the Constitutional Review Commission Bill in the National Assembly, aimed at establishing a commission tasked with examining constitutional reforms and submitting recommendations. The Council of Ministers approved this initiative during its meeting on Friday, May 15.

The future Constitutional Review Commission will be appointed by the President of the Republic and will have the mandate to study various aspects related to the evolution of the constitutional framework. The work will focus on the protection of fundamental rights, as well as strengthening democracy and consolidating the country's institutions.
