Violence in Camp-Thorel: Four Suspects Charged, Including a Business Owner
Four individuals appeared in court yesterday at the Moka Tribunal facing a provisional charge of using a firearm to endanger life, following a night of violence that threw the village of Camp-Thorel into panic.
The suspects include Noorani Hajee Jamalsah, 49, a businessman and operator of the Hémisphère de l'Est hunting ground; Gael Rydley Jullien Noel Bernard, 23; Krishna Rajen Luchmedu, 49; and Windsley Gerard Celeste, 44. They were subsequently remanded in custody.
