Competition Commission (TACAP) Regulations 2026: Associations and Cooperatives: A Six-Month Amnesty to Regularize Practices

The Trade Association and Cooperatives Amnesty Programme (TACAP) is taking shape. Following the approval by the Council of Ministers on April 17, the Competition Commission (TACAP) Regulations 2026 were signed by the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Protection, Michaël Sik Yuen, on May 6. These regulations will come into effect on May 25. This initiative grants the Competition Commission the responsibility to implement this program, which is open to professional associations and cooperatives seeking to regularize their practices.
