National Wholesale Market: Decentralizing, but at what cost?

The National Wholesale Market (NWM) in Wooton is set to be decentralized. The Agricultural Marketing Board (AMB) is currently working on the details of this expansion into other strategic regions. The project was approved by the Cabinet on Friday, May 15. Procedures are underway to ensure that a wholesale market is operational in Goodlands by the end of May. Arrangements are also being made for the establishment of a similar structure in other locations.
