Sextortion: A 14-Year-Old Schoolgirl Victimized by Online Predators

It all started with a request on TikTok. What was supposed to be just a simple virtual conversation quickly turned into a troubling case of blackmail and exploitation, highlighting once again the dangers minors face on the Internet.

According to the schoolgirl, a 9th grader, she began receiving WhatsApp messages from an unknown number after accepting a TikTok invitation on Monday, May 18, around 4 PM.
