Horse Racing: The GRA Act Will Be Amended

Among the decisions approved by the Cabinet on Friday, June 20, is the amendment of the Gambling Regulatory Authority Act (GRA Act). The roles and responsibilities of the GRA will be reviewed and redefined to restructure activities related to horse racing.

The bill also includes the establishment of a new administrative structure within the GRA. Among the seven divisions that will fall under the Chief Executive's jurisdiction will be the Horse Racing Integrity Division. This division's mission will be to uphold the integrity of horse racing and ensure that it is fair, transparent, and free from corruption or fraudulent practices.
