Baie-du-Tombeau: Seizure of over 7.7 million in synthetic drugs, two people arrested

A successful operation conducted by the Northern ADSU on Saturday, June 6. Thanks to reliable information, an Anti-Drug Brigade team searched a house in Baie-du-Tombeau that Saturday morning. Five packages of synthetic drugs worth over Rs 7.7 million were discovered. A 71-year-old woman and a 33-year-old mason were arrested. According to investigators, the two suspects have remained silent. They will appear in Weekend Court tomorrow, before returning to court on Monday facing provisional charges of drug trafficking. The investigation is ongoing.
