Tottenham: Tonali, Rashford, Savinho… A Summer Over €400 Million?

Tottenham: Tonali, Rashford, Savinho… A Summer Over €400 Million?

Tottenham is gearing up to make a major splash. As the 2026 World Cup is currently in full swing, the Spurs are planning to set the summer transfer window on fire. The London club hasn't wasted any time, having already completed a big move: the arrival of Dutch defender Jan Paul Van Hecke from Brighton. The Netherlands international (14 caps), who is set to reunite with Roberto De Zerbi after their time together at the Seagulls, is on the verge of being signed for around £52 million (€61 million).

The Spurs are active on all fronts.

But that's not all. As reported by the English press in recent days, the priority remains Sandro Tonali. The Italian midfielder from Newcastle is seen as the marquee signing desired by De Zerbi. Tottenham has reportedly already had a £75 million bid rejected by the Magpies, who are demanding up to £100 million (€117 million) to let their player go. Despite competition from Arsenal and Manchester City, the London club's directors are continuing discussions. In attack, another prestigious name is being floated: Marcus Rashford.

The Manchester United striker is reportedly looking for an exit following his loan spell at FC Barcelona. Tottenham is closely monitoring the situation but is reluctant to pay the estimated £40 million clause (€47 million). A lower offer could be made in the coming weeks. The Spurs are also looking at West Ham to bolster their midfield. Targeted by Real Madrid and PSG, Mateus Fernandes is also among the profiles favored by De Zerbi. The Hammers value their Portuguese international at around £80 million (€93.6 million), making him one of the most expensive targets of the London transfer window.

XXL ambitions for the upcoming season

Another offensive target? Savinho. The Brazilian winger from Manchester City is reportedly in discussions with Tottenham for a deal valued at around £60 million (€70.2 million). His speed and ability to beat defenders one-on-one perfectly align with the attacking style De Zerbi is looking for. Finally, London recruiters are keeping an eye on Kevin Denkey. The Togolese striker, who has delivered standout performances in recent seasons, represents a more affordable option to add depth to the attacking lineup. His market value is estimated at around £15 million (€17.6 million).

As you can see, Tottenham is casting a wide net and appears to have substantial resources for this summer window. If the Spurs manage to complete all of these moves, the total cost would reach approximately £347 million, or nearly €405 million. After several disappointing seasons, Tottenham seems determined to give Roberto De Zerbi the tools he needs to fulfill his ambitions and become a credible contender for European spots once again.
