[American Management University] Muhammad Hijaz Buccus Receives Honorary Doctorate in Public Health, Social Work, and Leadership

Muhammad Hijaz Buccus, who has been dedicated to volunteering and social work since 2010, was awarded an honorary doctorate in public health, social work, and leadership last month by the American Management University in California. This honor recognizes over fifteen years of commitment to serving the community. Reflecting on his journey, he spoke about the challenges, emotions, and perseverance that have defined his path. 'Since 2010, I've walked the path of volunteering and social work. It's been a journey of ups and downs, but I've never stopped moving forward,' he shared. He noted that while some people supported and encouraged him, others tried to discourage him. Despite the obstacles, he remained true to his mission of serving others, driven by his faith and determination. His work has included involvement with Fellowship First Aiders, then Professional First Aiders, and now the AL IHSAAN FOUNDATION, an international humanitarian organization. He says his mission has always been the same: to serve humanity with sincerity, compassion, and resilience. Following this academic honor, Muhammad Hijaz Buccus will now be known as Dr. Muhammad Hijaz Buccus. He expressed gratitude to his family, as well as to Dr. Shakeel Anarath and Bashir Ahmad Oaris for their support and guidance. He also gave a special thanks to his wife for her constant support. Believing this recognition goes beyond himself, Dr. Muhammad Hijaz Buccus dedicates this achievement to everyone who believed in him, encouraged him, and supported him over the years. He says he will continue his humanitarian work with the same sincerity and dedication.
