Journey: Israel: The Art of War

We borrow – and twist – the title from Sun Tzu's military treatise, "The Art of War." Without any prior tactics, except for keeping our eyes wide open, we were struck by the presence of the arts – paintings, sculptures – in the public spaces of this war-torn country, Israel. During a week-long stay from June 10 to June 13, between holy Jerusalem and the coastal city of Tel Aviv, we immersed ourselves in color.
