Israel Accepts US Proposal for 'Bilateral Ceasefire' with Iran

On Tuesday morning, the Israeli government announced that it has accepted the American proposal for a 'bilateral ceasefire' with Tehran, stating that it has achieved 'all objectives' of the war it initiated on June 13 against Iran.
Thanks to this war, Israel claims it has 'eliminated an immediate dual existential threat: nuclear and ballistic,' as stated in a government communiqué, while expressing gratitude to President Donald Trump and the United States for their defense support and involvement in neutralizing the Iranian nuclear threat.
The statement also emphasizes that 'Israel will respond strongly to any violation of the ceasefire,' which was published shortly after Mr. Trump's announcement of the ceasefire coming into effect.
