Weather: End of the Strong Swells Warning in Mauritius

Weather: The warning for strong swells in Mauritius has been lifted, according to the latest bulletin from the meteorological station issued at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.
Recent observations indicate a gradual weakening of the strong swells that were affecting the sea conditions around the island.
However, the open sea remains rough, with swells coming from the southwest. Wave heights are estimated to be around 3 meters.
It is advised not to venture into the open sea or in the lagoons of the East, South, and West, especially during high tides.
