Humanitarian Aid to Gaza: The Current System is 'An Abomination', Says Unrwa

The current distribution of humanitarian aid in Gaza, managed by an organization supported by Israel and the United States and resulting in chaotic scenes, is "an abomination," denounced the head of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (Unrwa) on Tuesday.

"The so-called newly created aid mechanism is an abomination that humiliates and degrades desperate people. It is a deadly trap, costing more lives than it saves," stated Philippe Lazzarini during a press conference in Berlin.
