Importation of 161 Kilograms of Cannabis: A British Network Dismantled

A significant crackdown took place at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (SSR) on Sunday. Officers from the Anti-Drug and Smuggling Unit and the Customs Anti-Narcotics Section of the Mauritius Revenue Authority arrested seven foreigners, six of British nationality and one Romanian, for the importation of cannabis in substantial quantities, totaling 161 kilograms valued at Rs 195 million.
