In Ébène: Launch of the First Guidelines on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education

In Ébène, on Tuesday, June 24, the Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Kaviraj Sukon, officially launched the "Guidelines on the Use of AI in Higher Education" at the Hennessy Park Hotel.

This document, presented as a first in Africa, aims to regulate the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in higher education institutions. It targets both students and faculty members to promote a responsible and effective integration of this technology into academic practices.

The minister encouraged the heads of the six public universities, as well as those in the private sector, to fully adopt these guidelines. He also emphasized that the document includes measures to prevent misuse of AI.
