[OMCA Foundation] A Gala Dinner to Support Access to Healthcare for the Underprivileged

On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, the OMCA Foundation (OMCAF) hosted a gala dinner at the Dr. Idriss Goumany Center in Plaine-Verte, attended by over 600 guests. The event brought together several public figures, including MP Eshan Juman, Minister of Labor Reza Uteem, and Zahid Nazurally, among others, highlighting the importance of solidarity in health matters in Mauritius. The program included speeches from invited guests, entertainment, and sharing of information about the foundation's initiatives.

The OMCAF is a solidarity initiative aimed at patients who lack the financial resources necessary for medical transfers abroad. Through this initiative, more than 200 patients have received life-saving treatments without financial barriers. "Our mission goes beyond mere medical transport. We believe in equitable and accessible healthcare for all," explains Zaheer Peerbacus, Council Member of OMCAF.
