Dismantling of an Illegal Laboratory in Flic-en-Flac: Seizure of Rs 96.7 Million in Synthetic Drugs

Authorities dismantled an illegal drug laboratory in Flic-en-Flac, seizing 6.45 kilograms of powder used for synthesizing drugs during a police operation led by Inspector Sunnia from the Divisional Crime Intelligence Unit (DCIU) on Sunday. The estimated market value of the seized items is Rs 96.7 million.

The police suspect that the bungalow had been converted into a clandestine lab. Two suspects, aged 27 and 41, were arrested, and an array of equipment used for drug production was also confiscated.

Investigators recovered 700 euros, 10,000 Thai baht, and Rs 90,850, believed to be proceeds from drug trafficking. A hotel room in Flic-en-Flac was also searched, but no incriminating evidence was found there.
