Environmental Police: 92,500 Units of Plastic Products Seized

A joint operation by the Environmental Police and the Plastic Division of the Ministry of Environment successfully dismantled a network distributing non-biodegradable plastic products in Pamplemousses yesterday, Saturday, October 25, 2025. Around 10 a.m., officers conducted a search at a supermarket located on Independence Street. The presence of the owner allowed for a thorough search within a legitimate and compliant framework.
