The son-in-law of Malagasy businessman Mamy Ravatomanga is currently being questioned by the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC). This interrogation mainly concerns a meeting that took place on October 14 at the home of an associate of the former commissioner of the commission, Me Junaid Fakim, in Quatre-Bornes. According to our information, he was among those present at this gathering. Mamy Ravatomanga's son-in-law has engaged the services of Me Kooshal Bansoodeb.

It is worth noting that Me Junaid Fakim, who was the commissioner of the FCC, resigned on October 25, 2025. He was subsequently questioned under warning before being placed under arrest on Thursday, October 30, 2025, as part of the investigation into the Malagasy businessman. During his questioning, he revisited the meeting on October 14 in Quatre-Bornes, which Mamy Ravatomanga attended. The former commissioner claims he left the meeting as soon as he realized it could conflict with his duties and denies any attempts at influence.

It should be recalled that Maminiaina Ravatomanga, known as "Mamy," was arrested by the Financial Crimes Commission on October 24. According to our information, the businessman is suspected of money laundering for the period of October 2025, in accordance with the FCC Act.
