Pre-Primary Education: No Changes to Free Services Before December 31, 2026

On Friday, November 7, the Minister of Education, Mahend Gungapersand, informed parents and stakeholders in the pre-primary sector that there will be no changes to the Grant-in-Aid scheme until December 31, 2026. He made this statement following a meeting of the inter-ministerial committee, which included Ajay Gunness, Ashok Subron, Anne Navarre-Marie, and Kaviraj Sukon.

The inter-ministerial committee presented to the council of ministers the discussions held with the relevant stakeholders.
