High Level Steering Committee: Businesses: The Prime Minister Calls for Measures to Remove Administrative Barriers

The High Level Steering Committee, responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Government Program 2025-2029 and chaired by junior minister Daneshwar Damry, convened this morning, as it does every month. Representatives from the private sector—including Business Mauritius, the MCCI, and MEXA—as well as representatives from the Economic Development Board (EDB) also participated in this working session.

Several strategic issues were discussed, including the removal of administrative barriers affecting businesses.
