Metro Express: Full Resumption of Operations on Line 1

Metro Express Ltd (MEL) has announced the complete resumption of operations on Line 1 following the resolution of a technical incident that occurred near the Sadally station. Service is now restored between Curepipe Central and Port-Louis (Place d'Armes) in both directions.

However, MEL notes that delays and some irregularities may still be observed during the initial runs as traffic is reorganized after the extended outage. A full return to normal operations is expected in the coming hours.

The management expresses gratitude to the public for their patience and understanding during the interruption, reiterating that passenger safety and network reliability remain their top priorities.
