Lottotech: Increased Starting Jackpots of Approximately Rs 8 Million for Lotto and Rs 5 Million for Lotto Plus

Lottotech is reaching a significant milestone. Starting from December 20, 2025, the starting jackpots for Lotto and Lotto Plus will be raised: approximately Rs 8 million for Lotto and Rs 5 million for Lotto Plus — the first increase since 2009. This decision comes alongside a revision of prizes for Match 3 and an adjustment of ticket prices, all aimed at continuous improvement and enhanced national impact.

Lottotech announces the largest enhancement in its history. From the draw on December 20, the starting jackpot for Lotto will rise from Rs 5 million to approximately Rs 8 million, while the Lotto Plus jackpot will increase from Rs 3 million to around Rs 5 million. This increase comes in addition to the raised prizes for three matching numbers — now Rs 150 for Lotto and Rs 100 for Lotto Plus — and a ticket price adjustment to Rs 30 for Lotto and Rs 20 for Lotto Plus starting December 18.

Beyond the entertainment aspect, Lottotech emphasizes the redistribution mechanism that has been fueling the economy and public programs since 2009. Since its inception, over Rs 8.3 billion have been paid into the Consolidated Fund, contributing to the financing of essential public projects. Meanwhile, over Rs 2 billion have been distributed in commissions to retailers, strengthening their businesses and ensuring stable income for hundreds of Mauritian families.

On the social front, Lottotech continues its commitment through targeted CSR initiatives: more than 4,000 beneficiaries have been supported over the years, particularly in the areas of education, health, inclusion, and community development.
