Fight at Melrose Prison: An Inmate Succumbs to His Injuries

A violent altercation broke out late in the day on Tuesday, December 9, at Melrose Prison. One of the inmates, seriously injured during the fight, was attended to by guards and emergency services. His condition was critical, and he was urgently evacuated to the hospital. However, he passed away before reaching his destination.

Upon being alerted, the CID officers from Montagne-Blanche and the police immediately arrived at the scene to initiate an investigation.
