Domestic Accident: Policeman Severely Burned

A serious domestic accident involving a gas water heater occurred on Monday morning on Schoenfeld Road in Rivière-du-Rempart. A 44-year-old policeman was severely burned while he was in the bathroom on the first floor of his family home. According to gathered information, the accident happened around 9 a.m. as the victim was attempting to connect the gas regulator to the water heater. It was then that the device reportedly exploded.
