Rally: A Temporary Car Circuit Soon to be Established in Anjalay Coopen Stadium Parking Lot

A temporary car circuit will soon be established in the parking lot of Anjalay Coopen Stadium. This will serve as a transitional solution while waiting for the construction of the large car circuit announced in the 2025-2026 Budget.

The project was discussed yesterday during a meeting between the Minister of Transport, Osman Mohamed, and the Minister of Youth and Sports, Deven Nagalingum. The goal is to discourage illegal racing and reduce accidents by providing young people with a safe space for motorsport activities.

The parking lot will be repaved to accommodate this activity.
