Rally: A Temporary Car Circuit to be Created Soon at Anjalay Coopen Stadium Parking Lot

A temporary car circuit will soon be established in the parking lot of Anjalay Coopen Stadium. This will serve as a temporary solution while the construction of the major car circuit announced in the 2025-2026 Budget is underway.

The project was discussed yesterday during a meeting between the Minister of Transport, Osman Mohamed, and the Minister of Youth and Sports, Deven Nagalingum. The aim is to discourage illegal racing and reduce accidents by providing young people with a safe space to engage in motorsport activities.

The parking lot will be repaved to accommodate this activity.
