Santa Thacoor-Brizmohun, Mother of Veena Ramgoolam, Has Passed Away

Santa Thacoor-Brizmohun, the mother of Veena Ramgoolam and mother-in-law of the Prime Minister, has passed away today at the age of 87 following a long illness. Known for her discretion in public life, Mrs. Thacoor-Brizmohun was surrounded by the unwavering support of her loved ones until the end.

Her body will be displayed at Elie Sons starting at 6 PM today, and the cremation is scheduled for tomorrow at 2 PM at the cemetery.
