Incident at Palmar Beach: A Tenth Suspect Arrested
A tenth suspect has been arrested following the incidents that occurred last Sunday at Palmar Beach. The individual, a 22-year-old resident of Fond-du-Sac, was apprehended for rebellion.
Police were dispatched to the scene after a complaint about excessively loud music. They reportedly faced aggression from a group of individuals, resulting in damage to police vehicles.
The nine suspects already arrested in this case were presented in court in Flacq yesterday. A provisional charge of rebellion was filed against eight of them, including a member of the ADSU (Anti-Drug and Smuggling Unit).
The ninth suspect was granted bail after being charged with "Rogue and Vagabond."
The investigation is ongoing.
