‘Track Roads’ Case: Rodrigues Chief Commissioner Franceau Grandcourt Released After Interrogation

In Rodrigues, Chief Commissioner Franceau Grandcourt has been allowed to leave after his second interrogation by the Financial Crimes Commission in Port-Mathurin on Thursday, January 29. He was confronted with new evidence presented in the case concerning the construction of two roads, totaling 9 million rupees.

According to reports, the construction work reportedly halted in front of the homes of Franceau Grandcourt’s relatives, as well as in front of Health Commissioner Nicolas Volbert's residence, who had already been summoned in December regarding this same case.
