Weather: Heavy Rain Warning in Effect Until 10 AM This Friday

A heavy rain warning remains in effect for Mauritius and is valid until 10:00 AM this Friday morning. Active clouds from the northern sector are influencing local weather conditions this morning. According to the bulletin issued by the meteorological station this Friday, the weather is cloudy with showers. These may be moderate to locally heavy at times and accompanied by thunderstorms. An improvement is expected throughout the day. The maximum temperature will range between 27 and 29 degrees Celsius on the central plateau and between 30 and 33 degrees Celsius in coastal regions. During the night, the sky will be partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy, with showers mainly in the south and on the heights. The minimum temperature will fluctuate between 20 and 22 degrees Celsius on the central plateau and between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius along the coast. The wind will blow from the northeast at about 15 km/h, strengthening with gusts during showers. The sea will be rough beyond the reefs, with swells around 2 meters, becoming temporarily strong under thunderstorms.

At 04:00 AM this morning, it was centered around latitude 15.6 degrees south and longitude 42.4 degrees east and remains nearly stationary.
